Cheryl Honnie, a member of the Diné (Navajo) tribe, is of the Ta'baaha (Water's Edge) clan, and born for the To'ahani (Near the Water) clan. Her maternal grandfather is Bit'ahnii (Folded Arms) clan, and her paternal grandfather is Łizhi lani (Many Goats) clan. She's a wife to fellow artist Lewis Honnie, and a mother to four children. She crafts when she's not working a full time job or maintaining a household.
